Robotic system for pruning tall palm trees.
The PALMI-RO project stems from CFB's desire to provide a system for the safe pruning of tall palm trees. The product is aimed at individuals and municipalities that have tall palm trees in their green spaces.
The PALMI-RO system allows you to prune any type of palm tree using a convenient remote control. The system rises to leaf or fruit level and performs the pruning. The operator remains on the ground in a safe position. A camera frames the area to be pruned, allowing the pruning point to be displayed on a screen inside the remote control.
No more dangerous climbs or expensive basket rentals.
Main features of the project
Automatic ascent
The system automatically climbs the trunk to the desired height.
Pruning
The system allows you to prune both the leaves and the fruits of the palm tree.
Video recording
The system allows you to view the pruning area on a monitor.
Remote control
The system can be controlled remotely, from a safe position.
