CFB divides its product development process into “Elementary Steps” which it calls “Work Packages”.
Each Work Package contains one of the following activities:
- Provision of intellectual work
- Supply of raw materials
- Supply of semi-finished products
- Supply of catalog items
- Supply of services
- Financing
A saver or investor can decide to finance a work package, a portion of it, or multiple work packages.
Financing a package also means providing the sum necessary for CFB to purchase the activity included in it.
In this way, the investor ties the fortunes of their money not to CFB, but to the success of the asset that will be developed by CFB and will generate a profit on sale.
If the asset produced by CFB is not a newly developed product, but one already “in production,” the investor can decide to finance one or more of the work packages constituting the “recurring” activities necessary for the production of that asset.
It would be like saying that, by investing my money in a car manufacturing company, I could choose to participate in the profits generated by the top-selling model!
The method provides the option to “participate” in the execution of one of the work packages required for the production of a consumer good, receiving in exchange a quantity of credits proportional to the percentage of purchased value relative to the total development cost.
The purchased credits are converted into currency each time the consumer good generates net sales revenue.
The rights accrued from developing CFB products remain valid for life. This means that over time, they accumulate and become independent of hours worked. This creates scalable income!
