PROJECT "ÆXO"
A wearable exoskeleton for temporarily reducing disability; it helps overcome architectural barriers and can contribute to improving cardiovascular and lymphatic function.
The ÆXO project stems from CFB's desire to provide a system "for everyone" that can restore the sensation of upright posture to those who are no longer able to do so independently.
The family of exoskeletons developed with the ÆXO project was created with the goal of providing a valuable tool, even for use in conjunction with a wheelchair, to regain previously restricted mobility. The project goes beyond simply creating wearable exoskeletons, but also integrates them with urban infrastructure and transportation systems, allowing them to seamlessly integrate with the community.

The ÆXO system will therefore consist of an
exoskeleton, but one capable of interfacing with a
car seat, a bus seat, or a subway seat, giving
the user an integrated position within
society and not just “a space reserved for the
disabled.” ÆXO will allow, at a lower cost
than all its competitors, to take a
walk in a park, go to an
ATM that requires climbing steps, and
move around the house quickly, all with an
attractive design that also makes it “pleasant to wear.”

Automatic lift
The system allows you to switch from a sitting to a standing position automatically.

The system allows you to walk like a human without the aid of crutches.
Movement on wheels
The system allows you to move on flat terrain on wheels, for greater speed of movement.
Step
The system allows you to climb and descend steps automatically and without the use of crutches.
