The NÆRO avionics system represents the cutting edge of unmanned, remotely controlled or autonomous systems.
It comprises a family of aircraft of various sizes and load capacities. Distinctive features include vertical and conventional takeoff capabilities, hovering capability, flight range, payload capacity, and extraordinary maneuverability, making it a useful tool for transporting countless types of payload.
Common applications include, for example, area surveillance, searching for survivors in flood zones, transporting medicines where traditional means are impossible, inspecting highway viaducts, power lines, and gas pipelines, and video recording. "Special" versions feature low radar signatures, splashdown capability, and the ability to install active and passive sensors.
Main features of the project
Thanks to its vertical takeoff capability, the NÆRO system does not require runways or takeoff/landing areas. Special versions can splash down on bodies of water and float. Takeoff and landing can also be performed conventionally where space is available.
